Happy coincidences and favourable dispositions allowed our ideas to come to fruition, in the autumn of 2014 in a lovely Georgetown coffee shop, on Jalan Nagore. In 2015 the beginnings were challenging to put it mildly, and tough, but every minute was worth it, thanks to some wonderful people around me. Delightful and fascinating artists. 

Too many details to recount the whole story briefly. Suffice it to say that in 2016 it was decided rename what was called 21 Gallery to KKG Gallery (Keeni Kessler Gallery). Many delightful events were held (various art forms) and my very special thanks to 2 artistic mentors, Albert Foo and Doris Hafner. Albert Foo, a wonderful Penang photographer cum graphic artist (in his youth) whose designs, strong inputs about layouts, decorations, banners, posters (which he all organised,  often were (most welcome) surprises and  major improvements to what had originally been planned. His ideas and imputs were utterly important, thus shaping the visuals in practically all events, made them sparkling, colourful and very lively with an underlying sense of humour tinted with a tenderly mischievous twinkle which characterises Albert and his acute sense of colours, details and proportions. Doris Hafner, an accomplished artist in her own right, and an art historian (who had had a large artistic experience in Germany before arriving in Malaysia, and becoming the Director of the Malaysian German Society in Penang) shared her knowledge and ideas freely to help improve events. Both of them became very good friends, and I learned a lot thanks to their help, patience and ideas.
